Background

I'm a junior undergrad - Sophomore at KIIT , majoring in Computer Science and Engineering . I aspire to become a Data Science engineer, not because its in vogue, but simply because I love the endless possibilities and novelties that this domain holds. A student at heart - continuously evolving and looking to learn new things.

My area of interest lies at the junction of programming, machine learning and real-world problem-solving. I have taken courses in the field of my area of interests and working on some related projects.

I am constantly looking for opportunities and collaborative work featuring the study, advancement, or use of AI, computers, and data. If you have an exciting idea in mind, please feel free to reach out to me for a chat!

When I'm not in front of a computer screen , I'm probably taking photographs, playing badminton, or crossing off another item on my bucket list ;)

The Quantum World and the Realm of Fractional Calculus

Quantum mechanics emerged as a result of the scientific enquiry into the wave nature of light during the mid-17th century under the contribution of eminent scientists including Christian Huygens, Robert Hooke and James Maxwell. This was followed by the Youngโ€™s Double Slit experiment and coining of the term Quanta (small energy packets) by Max Planck in the Planckโ€™s hypothesis for emission and absorption of radiation or energy. Several other contributions ranging from Wienโ€™s law and Maxwellโ€™s equations of Electromagnetic radiation to Schrรถdingerโ€™s and Klein-Gordonโ€™s equations have resulted in the continuous development of this seemingly reality defying field of modern science. As with most of the other fields in science, quantum mechanics has infiltrated other fields of scientific interest including but not limited to nano-materials, possible teleportation and not to mention, quantum computing. The main focus of this chapter revolves around the optimisation techniques, their quantum implementations and how they can be made more efficient by introducing a slight amount fractional order calculus which introduces the long term memory required for faster convergence to optimal values.

Udacity AWS ML Scholar

The AWS Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree Program enabled me to learn and achieve valuable machine learning skills at my own pace with interactive modules that made learning fun and effective. Carving out time to learn machine learning can be very hard, especially under the demanding schedules that software engineers work from. The flexibility offered by Udacity Nanodegrees lets me learn new skills on a timetable that works for me.
